The moment you decided to be my scapegoat is the moment you didn't realize how happy yet sad that made me. Much like my fall from heaven to hell, you will take on the world's burdens and ill feelings, but you get nothing in return. So as you sob, and scream, and ask me why. I can only answer with this is the life of the scapegoat. You take the pain. The anger. The divine fury. The blame. The guilt. The loss. That is what it is to be my champion. To never gain anything and to only lose. Just as I know one day I will lose you like I had lost everything before.
